Did you know that 40% of all American households have an air fryer in their kitchen? We never had an air fryer, but kept hearing so many positive things about them. We knew it was time to get one which is what brings us to the Uber Appliance Air Fryer Review.
Air Fryers have become popular because they are easy to use and they create healthier cooking options. Oh and I hear the food tastes pretty dang good too. Seems like a win, win. When there is buzz around an item I like to do my own due diligence to ensure what I’m hearing is the truth and then share my experience with each of you. To learn more about the air fryer craze I got the Power AirFryer XL from Uber Appliances to put to our Tailgating Challenge.

Air Fryer Testing
Air Fryers simulate deep frying foods, but without the unhealthy oils. Air fryers circulate hot air to help make foods crispy with no oil. This was my first time ever using an air fryer, so I was worried that it was either going to be complicated, or I’d ruin the meal. I later learned the fears were both unfounded.
The Power AirFryer XL was ready to use right out of the box. I set it up on the counter, plugged it in, and put some chicken tenders in the removeable food basket. Hit the power button and I selected the chicken wing option and then it was time to sit back and wait.
The unit has a small amount of noise that is made during the process, but nothing that will disrupt your family, or cause any concerns.
Before I knew it the timer was sounding and I pulled the tray out to see the steam come off and a brown layer across the tops of the chicken tenders. Then it was time for the ultimate test, the taste test. I cut into one and it was juicy with touches of crispy at the top. These were delicious and remember no oil or breading was used on these chicken strips.
I gave some to my wife who also said: “wow these are actually really good.” I knew that with some additional testing of the unit I think I could make them even better.
We went on to also do some Air Fryer Bacon and avocado wraps that you can see in the video below.
Pros: easy to use, dishwasher safe, great tasting food, healthier foods
Cons: Don’t stack the food up in the basket as that will impact the time needed and ability to get all the food crispy
Overall, I now understand why so many people have an air fryer. They are so easy to use, the food tastes great and its healthier. There is really no down side. Now it’s time to get creative and see what secrets we can unlock with this Uber Appliance Air Fryer.
