Guacamole is one of my favorite game day foods hands down. There are various combinations of ingredients that people use to make top notch guac around the world. Sometimes I want guac and don’t have everything I need. Fear not, Concord Foods can save the day without having you go to the store.

Concord Foods makes a Guacamole mix that makes it super simple to make guacamole. All you need are avocados and a package of the Concord Foods Guacamole Mix. My first thought is there is no way this will compare to my amazing homemade guacamole,but figured lets give it a shot and have some friends taste it.

The directions are pretty simple. Take two avocados, mash them up, add the contents of the spice pouch and stir. Then eat. It seemed easy, almost too easy!

I completed the steps in record time and then shared with friends. I’ll be honest I didn’t have high hopes, but I was wrong. Everyone took a bite and said this is pretty good. They then had another bite and another until it was all gone.

PROS: easy to make, if you don’t have everything you need in the house and get a guac craving you don’t have to go to the grocery store.

CONS: its pretty good but still likely not as good as your full on homemade recipe

Overall, if you need to make guacamole quickly or don’t have all the ingredients needed to completed the job then the Concord Foods guacamole mix is a great thing to keep on hand in your house.
