What Did We Think Of This Hammock?
I saw the Anymaka Hammock on social media and they showed so many people setting up the stand in seconds! My first thought was AMAZING! I love relaxing in a hammock and I love tailgating, but you never see hammocks at tailgates, as they aren’t easy to set up or find the hook up points for the hammock. This hammock looked like it could literally be set up in a parking lot, or on top of a mountain. We decided to do both!
The weight of the Anymaka hammock is a little under 25 pounds, so while you may not want to hike miles with it, it is easy to get in your vehicle and travel some distance to find the perfect hammock spot. When you get to your favorite spot you will pull the Anymaka frame out and it easily slides out and locks into place in a matter of seconds. When I said I was amazed earlier seeing it online, now I had that real emotion in seeing how the technology worked to help set up the base frame for the hammock.
Once you have the frame set up, the hammock quickly attaches on both sides. Then you can make the fine-tuning adjustments for spreading out the frame or pulling the hammock up higher. These adjustments either can’t happen, or are a pain with normal hammocks, but now they are a breeze!
There are optional upgrades that you can also purchase from the cupholder, bug screen and canopy shade. All of these upgrades can add value to your Anymaka hammock. My favorite of these optional upgrades is the cupholder so I can have place to put my drink without having to get out the hammock or lean over to place it on the ground. There is a small rubber band that secures the cupholder that you will need to be careful not to lose.
Again, what makes the hammock special is the ultimate ease in setting up and adjusting to have the hammock in the perfect position to relax. From the mountains to the parking lot we took the Anymaka through various terrains and came away impressed.
Conclusion
PROS: Simple set up, easily adjustable, nice optional upgrades
CONS: the shade option is easier with two people, the cup holder has one small rubber piece that can easily be lost
Overall, this may be the easiest way to set up a hammock anywhere. If you love relaxing in a hammock, but hate setting them up, the Anymaka Hammock is here to save the day.
