Winter is getting closer and with that comes colder temperatures and the chance for ice and snow. As tailgaters and people who enjoy the outdoors we have to stay warm and dry because nothing will keep us from having fun outside.
The team at Arctix Bottoms has cold weather gear for men, women and kids. We were sent a male and female matching ski jacket and snowboard style pants to test out. (See our video below to see how these look and fit.)
When I first opened them up I was surprised at how stylish both sets were. I normally think staying warm is all about pure functionality and style has little to do with it, but Acrtix Bottoms allows you to look good and stay warm!
The jacket and pants are both water and wind resistant while still allowing both to be breathable. The jackets come in varying levels of thickness, so you can stay warm no matter the climate you are out enjoying.
I’m a big fan of zipper pockets and there are zippered pockets in both the jacket and the pants. The pants also have velcro cargo pockets. The mans jacket has an inside zipper pocket and the hood can also be removed.
PROS: Look great, keep you warm, zippered pockets, Wind/Water resistant, machine washable
CONS: the jacket is so warm I’ll only be able to use it a few days a year in Texas;)
