Tailgating tents are a staple at tailgates across the country, but some are bland and hard to set up. That’s not our style here at Tailgating Challenge, we like style and to make tailgating easier. Crown Shades said their pop-up tent was one of the easiest tents to set up and we could customize it! Let’s see if these claims are true in the Crown Shades Tailgating Tent Review.

What Did We Think?
I have been testing tailgating gear for years and have multiple tailgating tents that have torn up and were kind of a pain to set up. As noted, I like to make tailgating easy and a tailgating tent should be easy to set up. The Crown Shades tent has a 1 button push up (Centerloc System) that in one statement: WE LOVE!
The hardest part about the setup is simply getting under the tent to push on the Centerloc system when you first get it going. Once you get your hands on what I call the easy button the tent lifts up and locks into place with ease. Did I say I was impressed with this button!
From there you can adjust the legs, as there are 3 different height settings to get the perfect lift to your tent. While it’s easiest to set up with two people, I went and set this up all by myself just to prove it could be done and it honestly wasn’t that hard. I can say this is the easiest tailgating tent I’ve ever set up.
Crown Shades offer a variety of colors and also has the ability to customize! We love something that is unique and stands out and they did an amazing job with highlights our Tailgating Challenge brand! They can add custom logos to tops of the tent and sides. They also offer a back wall and side skirts. Guess what? These can be branded and customized too! Overall the colors and graphics are rich with color. We will see how they hold up over time, but impressed in our first few months of use.
Finally, when it’s time for the tailgating party to end (bummer we know) the take down is just as easy. That same easy button we pushed to set the tent up is simply reversed by clicking the tab on this button and the tent comes down. The Crown Shades 10X10 tent also easily goes into the carrying case and then you lock the bag to the frame to secure it, so you can roll out. You guessed it, there are wheels that allow you not have to pick up and haul the tent around.
Conclusion
PROS: easy setup, goes into back easily, wheels for transportation, ability to customize
CONS: we will see how it holds up over time
Overall, if you’re in a need of an easy to set up tailgating tent that stands out, then it’s time to popup a Crown Shades tailgating tent.
