We love watching Shark Tank and have watched every episode, some a few times! When they showcased an electric carving knife that was in the style of a chainsaw, I was STOKED! Mighty Carver Testing

I was excited when I finally got my Mighty Carver. After Shark Tank they were sold out and I had to wait a few months to get my hands on this chainsaw carving knife! Once it came in I tore into the box and got it set up.

Set up was simple, as the dual stainless steel blades attached by sliding and clicking in. Then you slide the chain style guard over the top of the blades. Side note, disassembly is just as simple with the pull of the handle and press of a button. Watch set up and tear down in the video below.

The Mighty Carver has an extra long cord, so you can get around the kitchen while carving like a champ. One cool thing could be a battery operated version in the future for ultimate portability.

Now on to the carving. We learned that steaks, breads and veggies were no match for the Mighty Carver. This did exceptionally well slicing loaves of bread and cutting through thick steaks like butter.

We learned that watermelon was a slightly tougher challenge. The guard on the Mighty Carver seemed to be holding it back with this watermelon. I popped the guard off and it did better with getting through the watermelon.

Clean up was a breeze since you just need to take the guard and blades off for cleaning.

Conclusion

PROS: feels great in your hands, slices through meat in exceptional fashion, the most fun way I’ve ever sliced through food
CONS: not perfect for everything you need to cut

Opportunities to Make it Better: adding a light so you can see what you’re chopping better. Adding a rechargeable battery so cut the cord and go anywhere.

Overall, this was the most fun way I’ve ever cut through food! The Mighty Carver will have your friends wishing they could cut the turkey at Thanksgiving.
