Rampz Game Review

We love testing out the latest and greatest tailgating games and in our quest for the best we got our hands on the all-new Rampz game. Literally, we got on of the first sets that were sent out to put to the Tailgating Challenge. Rampz combines classic games of Cornhole, Skeeball and Beer Pong in a unique and challenging game. Thanks for checking out our newest blog and video review of the Rampz Game Review.

Rampz Game How to Play

-Set up game for playing (you can select Cupz or Pointz)

-Set the boards up 10-12 feet apart (10 for beginners, 12 feet for pro level)

-For playing the Pointz game you get 3 points in the hole, 2 points for the top two levels and 1 point for the bottom step. If a bag falls off it will not count for any points.

-For Cupz game you work to clear your opponent’s 6 cups before they clear yours.

What Did We Think?

We saw this game on social media months before it actually was able to be purchased. Once it was ready for distribution we got our hands on one of the first games to play and give our impressions to our tailgating fans.

The games come in two separate bags that are a little bigger than some tailgating games we have. Each game will weigh about 18 pounds and the set-up is pretty simple with attaching both legs to the bottom of the ramp and then selecting which game (Pointz or Cupz) for the top of the ramp board. Set up is less than a minute.

Once you have the games set up you will move them 10-12 feet apart. They note 10 feet is more for beginners and 12 feet for challenging pro level play. There are 8 small bean bags that come with the game that you will work to launch up the ramp and into the air to land on the target, that is set up on the other side.

When we first started playing it was more challenging that we anticipated, and it took a few rounds to start to get into a little bit of a rhythm of the game. There is a cup holder at the very back of the ramp that got in the way a few times when we were launching our bags.

The game comes with 2 different ways to play the game, so you can continue to have fun with the Pointz game that is more of a cornhole style game and the Cupz game that is a Beer Pong style game.

The game breaks down to go into the back of a car, truck or SUV and there is language in the instructions about not jumping, sitting or standing on the game. If someone did this I could see some damage occurring to the game.

Conclusion

PROS: easy set-up, fun game play, 2 different game boards for more variety
CONS: bulkier overall game, cupholder location can impact some shots and can only hold cups not cans
