We have all seen the team car window flags that fly on the way to the game and those are very nice for the average fan. Who wants to be AVERAGE though? FanPole has made a product for you to represent your team with a full size flag to fly out of your trailer hitch.
The Fanpole fits into any standard receiver hitch and gives you the ability to fly your standard size house flag off the back of your SUV or truck. The flag is secured by 2 solid bolts that are very sturdy.
The set up only takes a few minutes out of the box and it comes with everything you need (minus the flag) We tested this at varying speeds and the FanPole itself is solid. In our case at speeds of 70mph on the interstate the actual flag failed and and became unhooked in one area. (this was not a failure of the FanPole but the construction of the flag itself as it was not meant to handle that kind of wind:)
PROS: being more than average, unique design, ability to change the size of the flag that is flown off the back.
CONS: This product should not be used on highways or interstates or the speed may damage your flag. Again no issue with the FanPole, but something to note for personal use.
Overall: If you want to cruise up to your next tailgate and be the envy of the other tailgaters visit FanPole today and check one of these out!

I used to use a PVC pipe to fly my Flags from my truck. Upon seeing this I felt like it was professional and decided to give it a shot. The first time I installed a flag I apparently installed it wrong and I admit that. I emailed fanpole and they got back to me and I installed it the right way and that fix the issue of the flag sliding up and down on the pole. However I had an issue with almost every flag I got wanted to rip. They either got caught on the cotter pins or from the extreme wind and that’s after using one of the highest rated flags on the market. That was my only gripe for about 2 weeks. Then one day driving to work the flag pole bent in half and broke off driving down the road. I have no clue where the top part of the flag pole went or for that matter where my flag is. I really hope there was nobody behind me when it broke off because it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Upon getting home I noticed it was missing from the back of my truck and it was sheared in half with rust in the center of the pole I’m assuming over the course of three weeks water had gotten inside and rusted from the inside. Needless to say will never buy another product from them again and neither should you unless you want to be Focus of a lawsuit God for bid it goes through somebody’s windshield.
Thanks for the note. Been quite some time since we’ve used ours as it too had a few issues. I’m not sure if they have made any updates at this time. Thanks again and be safe!
I bought a FanPole for my husband’s birthday. Hard to install, but two people got it done. It lasted one day. The flag literally tore off the pole. Went to the website, where it says not to use at highway speed. If I’d known that BEFORE buying it, I wouldn’t have purchased it. My husband is taking the stupid pole off his truck. I will be sending it back. What good is something if you can’t actually drive with it .
