Fresh Cravings Salsa

Salsa is a staple at house parties and tailgates. I love salsa and the many refreshing flavors that each bite can provide. From a cool refreshing salsa, to a spicy, or sweet salsa, there are many options for all tastes. Most of the salsa I get from the grocery store shelf, but how fresh are those? I love fresh, but don’t always want to make it myself. In the quest for fresh I found Fresh Cravings Salsa.

The Fresh Cravings Salsa is the freshest salsa I’ve had, that wasn’t homemade. I got a box in the mail and to my surprise there were three containers of the Fresh Cravings salsa (mild, medium, hot) but here is the kicker: they were in a cooler full of ice packs. When is the last time you bought salsa that was in the chilled section of your local store? For me the answer was never.

I was intrigued and opened up the medium salsa to get a taste. Wow it was fresh! I checked the ingredients (in order):

Tomatoes, Onion, Water, Anaheim Chili Pepper, Serrano Chile Pepper, Cilantro, Sugar, Salt, Lime Juice, Dehydrated Onion, Garlic Powder, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Dried Cumin, Dried Oregano.

Pretty good looking line up that is contained in each container.

The Mild was very mild with no spice to it at all, very refreshing though. Would pair well with a spicy/tangy chip.

The Medium was a step up and my favorite, as it was flavorful with a hint of spice.

The Hot was warmer than the medium, but for a HOT it was pretty mild. I like that, as I’m not a huge fan of these insanely hot salsa’s that are out there.

Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and freshness of the Fresh Cravings Salsa. I enjoyed the Chunky style and note they also have restaurant style and pico de gallo, too. If you’re having a craving for freshness then check out Fresh Cravings Salsa. I hear you can find it at Wal-Mart!
