What Did We Think?

We got 3 of the flavors to test out and put to our Tailgating Challenge. The infused ice cubes are placed into the freezer and once frozen you place them in a glass with a suggested 1 ice cube to 1 ounce of alcohol ratio. To open the ice cubes you simply open top of the package and push the bottom. The cube easily slides out and into your glass.

From there you pour your alcohol of choice on the top and stir it up. As the ice cube melts more of the flavors will come out into the drink. When making these drinks I like to add some real ice and a splash of water to make the cocktail that is perfect for me.

The Clyde

First up: The Clyde. The Clyde brings a peachy flavor to your cocktail. This infused ice cube creation had a pleasant, but mild flavor that was enjoyed, but did not have the character of some of the other offerings that we will get into.

The Cecile

Next Up, The Cecile. This brings stronger flavors of cucumber and watermelon. There are hints of the honey and thyme on the back end, but if you love cucumber and watermelon this will be a drink for you. This was the first infused ice cube that we tried and quickly became fans of this unique and easy to make cocktail.

The Seymour

Finally, we have The Seymour. This was our favorite of the trio. These infused cubes brought out lemon and vanilla in an extremely smooth fashion. As the ice cubes melted the flavors continued to infuse into our drink and we loved it. There were layers to the flavors as they made the way from the glass to our lips. This is one we recommend you trying if you love lemon and vanilla flavors.

Conclusion

PROS: unique flavors, easy to use, made in the USA, easy to make unique mixed drinks away from home
CONS: some flavors have more character than others

Overall, these infused ice cubes are a simple way to create unique cocktails for your party guests. If you’re looking for a simple solution to become a mixologist then it’s time to check out Herb and Lou’s Infused Ice Cubes.
