Product Testing
When these new festival chairs came out we knew we had to pick up a few as we are big fans of Kijaro chairs. We recently checked all of our tailgating chairs and found out we had more Kijaro chairs than any other brand (see the full Kijaro chair line up VIDEO we did). When these new chairs came out we grabbed a blue and teal festival chair to put to our Tailgating Challenge.
These chairs are light weight and weigh under 6 pounds. They easily slide out of the protective bag and I noticed that there is a clip and shoulder strap, so you can quickly move the party to the next spot.
The majority of the back and seat of these festival chairs are mesh for easy breathability when the temps go up. There is a storage pocket on the side to hold things like phone, keys, snacks, etc.
What the festival chair does not have: cup holders and armrests. I thought this was a deal breaker at first, but I learned that since these chairs are so low to the ground you naturally use your knees as armrests. Also, being so close to the ground you can place your drink on the ground. Again a small cupholder would be great, but we navigated around this.
Conclusion
PROS: lightweight, full mesh back and bottom, carry strap on back
CONS: no cup holder
