I finally got a ping pong table last year and have enjoyed some nights of fun games with friends. The ping pong paddles that I’ve always seen have been the standard red and black sided ones that work, but they are boring. I’m not a boring guy, so when I learned about Uber Pong and the ability to customize your own paddles I knew this was a good fit. Now on to the Uber Pong Review.

Product Testing

Many times we find cool products, but sometimes they find us. We created a fun video involving a twist with ping pong and MOTORIZED beer pong (watch it HERE) and the team at Uber Pong found us. They saw us using boring ping pong paddles and thought we needed to step things up. We agreed and got some custom Uber Pong Paddles made.

You can put a unique image on each side, or have the same image on both sides. We went with one side with our Tailgating Challenge logo and on the other side a fun pic of me riding a motorized cooler. Remember these are made to be different and just for you.

The paddles come in a smooth and bumpy style. I played with both and and I preferred playing with the smooth vs. the bumpy ping pong paddles.

I’ve played with some paddles that are more than two times the costs of these custom Uber Pong paddles and to be totally fair the more expensive ones play better for me. BUT with the cost, style and play of the Uber Pong paddles I was still impressed.

I’ve always knew that if I couldn’t fit in then I had to stand out. These Uber Pong paddles help me do just that.

Conclusion

PROS: custom graphics, different graphics on each side, plays well for the price

CONS: as noted these look great and play good, but if you are currently using higher dollar paddles you’ll know a difference.

Overall, for the price and coolness factor these are a great win. If you’re looking to step your ping pong paddles up and make a statement then the Uber Pong paddles could be just what you need.
