You’ve been sitting in lawn chairs for years and no doubt you’ve looked down and seen the circular cut outs on the front legs. I never knew what these were used for, until now. These have the ability to help keep you cooler and shaded from the sun on a bright summer day. Well these holes alone can’t do that, but when paired with your favorite beach umbrella, they can activate their super powers.

What you’ll need: Lawn Chair and beach umbrella

What you need to do: Slide the base of the umbrella into this circular hole at the bottom of your front lawn chair leg. Boom your comfy chair is now shaded from the sun.  You can switch sides to help keep the sun off no matter where you go.
