I founded National Homegating Day in 2019, well before the pandemic, before stay at home orders, before quarantine, before we knew that Homegating would overtake tailgating as the main way to enjoy your favorite teams games. Since we are at home we might as well put on an NFL Team Onesie to support our favorite teams in comfort and style.
I came across the NFL Team Onesie on Oilfield Jersey Company and thought that it looked just like my style. I’ve been a San Francisco 49ers fan since I was a kid (Joe Montana and Jerry Rice did it for me) and once I’m a fan, I’m a fan for life. Naturally, I went to see what their 49ers team onesie looked like. Once I saw it, I loved it and knew this could be a hit for watching games from home. In reality I’d still wear this out in public, but I digress.

I got my 49ers onesie in and quickly put it on. I thought it looked great and was pretty comfy. For sizing I fluctuate between L or XL depending on the item and went XL with this Onesie and was glad I did. I’d recommend going a size up if you are uncertain.
I really like the team colors and huge team logo in the center of the chest on the onesie. There is a hood with the onesie too, but I likely won’t use that much around the house. Now when I wear this out and about that could be a different story.
Finally, the part that makes me kind of laugh is what they dub the Emergency 2 Point Safety Flap. The part about “Emergency” is what makes me giggle, as I could see in a true “Emergency” having this flap by your rear end could be helpful!
Overall, the Oilfield Jersey Company NFL Team Onesie is comfy and has great style. I’ve found myself wearing it almost every night since I’ve gotten it in. The bold style isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely perfect for me.
